Suzerain Official Soundtrack: Out Now on Vinyl

Dear Citizens of the Suzerainverse,
The music in Suzerain plays a vital role in enhancing the atmosphere, delivering a more immersive and emotionally engaging gameplay experience. We are incredibly proud of the beautifully composed soundtrack by James Spence, and it is with great pleasure that we announce the release of the Suzerain Official Soundtrack on vinyl is out now.The soundtrack features twenty two carefully selected tracks from the Suzerain universe, pressed onto a stunning double LP in signature Sordland Red. Housed in a beautifully designed gatefold sleeve, the record is crafted using sustainability-focused materials. To significantly reduce carbon emissions by up to 90%, this edition is produced with 100% recycled materials, including bio-vinyl and recycled plastics.James Spence, Suzerain's composer and sound designer, set out to create a subtle yet powerful emotional tone that mirrors the complex journey of a president burdened by a long and troubled past.
“We wanted to make a soundtrack that captured the uncertainty and moral greyness of the story. After some experimenting with orchestral elements, we went for a more human, guitar-driven soundscape to reflect Anton himself,” explained James.
Due to the wide scope of playstyles in Suzerain, we decided to split the music into core themes, assigning a theme to each track. Among the tracklist, listeners will notice that the tracks are titled after their respective themes, such as Optimism, Scandal, and Critical.
James’ inspirations for the Suzerain soundtrack range from electronic ambient music to post-rock bands like Explosions in the Sky, known for their use of instrumental guitar to create narrative-driven soundscapes.
