Spectre Divide | Update Notes | October 22
Hey everyone!
This week we have a lot of weapon updates and bug fixes. We’re doing our best to continue pushing bug fixes and reducing the amount of bugs that crash or hinder match progress. We’ve also made some optimizations on weapon reloads and equipment animation updates.
WEAPON UPDATES
Improved the overall snappiness of weapon draw and holster
Weapon holster animations can now be skipped when equipping weapons and Sponsor Kit utility
It should now be easier to understand when a weapon is ready to fire
Weapons now always play their first-time equip animation when drawn
Weapons now support reload canceling
Reloads will no longer use checkpoints if canceled with a partially full magazine
There are still protections to prevent timing-related exploits
MAP UPDATES
Fixed several spots on Commons where the ZEUS wouldn’t reset appropriately
QUALITY OF LIFE
Players who you’ve blocked will now be removed from your Friends List
Various performance optimizations for both CPU & GPU
BUG FIXES
Fixed an issue where players sometimes received an Online Services Error when logging in
Fixed an issue where Ghostlink’s Partition (Q) could be deployed at the incorrect location in rare cases
Fixed a bug where Alchemist Spray was the wrong texture when used
Fixed a bug where Alchemist Knife’s internal liquid was sometimes misbehaving
Fixed a rare crash related to Surrender
