Public Beta patch notes for Week 2

It's time for the second week of the public beta. This time, we have updated the trade victory to answer your feedback and added something a lot of you have been waiting for a while...The balancing of multiple clans.
Trade victory / Miklagard Faction
We’re happy with the overall direction of the trade-victory rework, but thanks to your feedback we now see it still need some serious adjustments. The victory has been rebalanced to be slower to achieve, and a bit easier to contest. (We’ll keep adjusting the values following new feedback)
Miklagard initial Kröwns pool is composed of 500 > 1000 KröwnsTo reach Trade Victory you need to reach 40% > 50% of the Pool
You’ve also pointed out the rewards for 15% and 25% prestige were either too strong, or not as interesting as they might have been and so they’ve been reworked to hopefully be more balanced and more interesting to most clans and most plays.
15% Step : Now gives less resources, no longer gives Stone and Iron, but gives 50 Lore and 15 Fame25% Step : No longer send Military Units, but +5 Stone and +5 Iron every 6 Months
Clans
Hounds
As you’ve been many to point out and despite previous nerfs, Hounds Clan is still much stronger than other clans, at least in early game. So that’s what we want to target with this new balancing patch, make the clan units weaker in early game to slow down its clearing and scaling capacity, without touching too much at its power later in the game. (But making it arrive at this peak a bit later, as a consequence)

Foxskin
Initial Move Speed is reduced slightly
Shredding Claws Ability
Max Speed Reduction -15% > -10%
Max Dmg Increase +15% > +10%
Bearskin
Initial Defense 11 > 8
Def gain for each level +15% > +25%
At level 5 : 17.5 > 16 Def
At level 7 : 21 > 20 Def
Blade Breaker Ability
Atk Power Reduction -25% > -20%
Death Deceiver Ability
Make units invulnerable for 2 sec > 1.5 sec
Boarskin
Initial HP 75 > 60HP gain for each level +15% > +25%At level 5 : 120 = 120
At level 7 : 140 > 150
Owl
Owl is a bit overtuned as well, especially some knowledge, in particular Parasitic Vegetables, so we’re making it a lot less of a powerhouse. In the meantime, Owl, despite some natural advantages for scouting, is almost never used for this in multiplayer settings. To reinforce this we’re adding a scouting bonus with its Fame 200, equivalent to what other clans can achieve by upgrading their scout camp.
Parasitic Vegetables
Reduce only Food Consumption in the zone
Reveal resources every 1 > 3 Months
Amount of resources received is capped at a Maximum of 80 Food, 50 Kröwns, and 50 Wood (= 25 Lore)
Fame 200
Increase scouting speed of Norns by +15%
Increased Lore gain from Shared Knowledge is removed
Fame 500
Branches effects boosted by relation is removed
Boar
Boar seems to be lacking behind in the current meta, and specific clan features like menders play a very little role in the clan gameplay in multiplayer, so we’re giving them a big boost to hopefully turn this around.
Mender
Prod +1 > +1.5 Lore
Herbalism
Prod in zone per Mender +5% > +7.5%
Mender Heal Speed +20% > +40%
Squirrel
Since previous nerf to Squirrel meal effect for allies, Squirrel is now less played than other support clans, especially in multiplayer setting. So we’re following your suggestions to make it scale with time to become more impacting later in the game.
Effects of Meal for allies scale from 50% to 100% with the relationship between the Squirrel and ally clan
Snake
Snake Scorched Earth was previously changed to be possible to trigger on the clan’s own territory, this was a mistake, we are reverting it to how it previously worked, possible only in neutral or enemy territory.
Scorched Earth ability can no longer target ally zones.
Stag
Following previous changes to the Stag clan and to the knowledge Glory of the clan especially, it needs to be readjusted to account for the new retroactive nature of its effects.
Glory of the clan increase all Fame gains by +30% > +15%
Others
Minor adjustments following balance feedback
Ox - Torfin Provocation ability cooldown is increased to 3 months > 6 months
Lynx - Oskoreia ability cooldown is increased to 5 months > 8 months
Conquest
Since the previous AI rework, some Conquest Battles, especially 1v3 / 2v6 have become much more difficult / frustrating, than they were originally intended to be, so we’re readjusting the numbers of AI opponents as an adjustment, and to avoid some of them feeling tedious to complete in certain settings.
Battles 1v3 and 2v6 have been rebalanced to be 1v2 and 2v4 instead, to adjust the difficulty following changes on the AI.
Bifröst
As noted by many solo players, the Bifröst is a mode that is challenging to complete without teammates. This change is a first step in making the challenge more interesting for you.
When playing solo, after surviving each wave you’ll now be able to pick 2 bonuses among 6. (Instead of 1 among 3 previously)
