Patch Notes: Build 0.94 "Resource Tracker"
Last patch shipped with a bug related to Steam Overlay, so I needed a fix out ASAP. But I took this opportunity to get in some other requested quick fixes in and the resource tracker I have been working on.
Added:
Resources are now shown on the map when hovering over the resource bar, and rooms appear when hovering over the station button, making it easier to find what you need.
Balance:
Drop Pod impact liquid removal strength reduced from 10 → 2.
Mech Health Upgrade cost increased from 75 → 150.
Ray Turret fire rate increased from 0.5 → 0.75.
Changes:
Preferred difficulty is now set to Easy by default.
Improved the Turret Targe Prioritization. Added some gifs to show what is happening under the hood. The green line is the decided target. Blue is what the old system would have found. Red is blocked. Yellow is the search position and the cyan is the enemy that the position found. Hope you like this even though it is a bit nerdy. : )
Tank Main Gun, Cannon, Shotgun & Flamer Turrets now also compares dot products (angle difference) when finding a target.
Sniper & Ray Turrets are looking in many directions trying to find the enemy with the highest health.
Howitzers and Rocket Artillery looks for shortest distance from each search point.
Miniguns and the rest just targets the closest enemy.
Fixes:
Trader Resource Tracker now updates correctly after transactions.
Planet View music will no longer stop playing unexpectedly.
Blade Turret unlock path now correctly updates when unlocking Walls or Flamer Turrets.
Hardware cursor will not be crazy big on some Linux machines.
Worms and Deposits will no longer try to block pathing, it caused units already inside the area to stop moving.
Know Issues:
SHIFT Selection is stuck after closing Steam Overlay using the close button. I can't for the life of me fix this. So the official solution until Steam or Unity changes their API is to just press SHIFT again when back in the game.
