We’ve just rolled out the Build 2.3.18617.0.20, QoL updates and fixed issues. Dive into the details below and check out the exciting balance changes we've made—your gameplay just got a whole lot better!
A quick note, this patch ONLY applies to PC players, consoles will be updated later with all of these fixes.
⬆️ Updates:
Online BETA made PUBLIC: We are happy to announce that the online game mode is now available for all PC player. Go on and play with your friends no matter where you are.
Remember this game mode is on BETA so many aspects including mechanics, balance and stability are still a work in progress. The final version of the online game will feature improvements, adjustments that may differ from what you see here.
Closed Beta Save File will not be transferred to the Public Beta & Public Online Beta uses the same Save-File as single player (Slot #1)
Alternate Bosses (Part 2): We added new alternate bosses to the game: 🐢 John & Chipzs, 🐋 Killer Pecs, 🦌 Coalberg, 👁️ Elder C’thulotl..
To Unlock them, you just need to defeat their original version.
Applied Bug-Fixes to the pre-existing Alternate Bosses.
🛠️ Bug Fixes:
Fixed localization error with “Will now appear on future runs” being on English on various languages.
Fixed localization error with “Will now appear on future runs” card on Italian language.
Snimarten projectiles now can be destroyed with melee weapons as intended.
Crabotank & Dumboth Red bombs deal 1 point of damage instead of 2.
Jelly pink bullets now deal 2 points of Damage
Opening the settings menu no longer regens HP
Fixed Softlock where Tutorial cannot be completed.
Soap bubble no longer applies Cancel Effect when destroyed
Aim assist setting now apply in the same run.
Happiness UI now updates correctly (Visual Issue)
Ammo items and mods now work correctly
Axolotls no longer automatically heal during C’thulotl second phase
Player no longer loses interaction when carrying an Axolittle
Player can no longer go out of bounds during Hell’o Kitty Battle
Fixed issue where P2 loses control of pause menu when leaving settings menu / Axopedia / Journal submenus.
Nuggets UI now updated correctly when P2 buys Items
Fixed issue where P2 automatically receives an AK when reviving at the pond
Fixed Issue where P2 couldn’t be revived after a Boss fight
P2 now has vibration feedback on controller.
Fixed issue where P2 loses control of pause menu after lea
Fixed issue where P2 could control the background menu during the Pairing Lobby
🎮 Online Patch #13:
This Patch #13 we improved stability during the online gameplay, and also expect a better sync between quests and interactions and lots of fixed issues.
⬆️ Online Updates:
Players no longer see the other player reticle.
🛠️ Online Bug Fixes:
Improved loading time issues for P2 when entering a run
Orbitals now apply status effects as intended
Weapons no longer swap when dashing
Fixed damage numbers duplicated against bosses
Spread weapons now display correct number on P2 Screen
Fixed issues where drops get superposed in different order for both player
P2 now gets rewards form Boss Chests as intended
Fixed issues where Baby skin is duplicated when p1 load a save with a skin equipped
Hurt VFX are limited to the player who gets hurt/healed/defeated
Weapons dropped from Hell’o Kitty no longer go out-of-bounds
P2 can no longer duplicate babies
Fixed issue where P2 could move when P1 picked an egg in the secret room
Inviting player using a game pad now shows the correct prompt
Hurt VFX now show correctly on P2 when dashing
Soap bubble now “Pops” correctly after getting hit
Boxing Glove no longer has an exaggerated knockback
Stats now correctly resets between sessions
Dashing enemies no longer get stuck after killing a player
Revived player no longer gets out of bounds during the Hell’o Kitty fight
Jumping no longer automatically jump to an alive player after killing one before.
Aim assist to P1 will no longer affect P2 aim assist
P2 now has camera shake
Players no longer go out-of-bounds when dying while dashing
Fixed issue where P2 automatically receives an AK when reviving at the pond
Sync Issues
Fixed discrepancies where melee weapons don’t destroy red bullets on P2 screen
Fixed drops discrepancies, by not appearing to one or both players
Fixed chest type discrepancies after multiple runs.
🛑 Known Issues:
Loading issues when abandoning a run (Inconsistent bug)
C'thulotl skin random items desync
Weapon chest drops desync after interacting with Wishing Fountain or King Leech NPCs
Biome 4's plant trap goo bombs desync
Bouncing Bullet desync
When a player is revived, switches weapons on P2
Game can crash when exiting the game after opening online lobby
