Network & Ping Issue Announcement
Hey Racers!
The development team has been investigating and working on the network and ping issues players are experiencing.
Due to differences in the issues and their causes across countries or regions, it has been difficult to provide additional updates despite continuous work on improvements. This is because the improvements have only been effective in certain countries or regions and were insignificant by global standards.
As a result of the improvements we made in the Season 2 Mid-Season Patch on Wednesday, June 7th (PT), we have seen real-world data and trends that demonstrated a significant improvement for network and ping issues in certain regions. While network status may still be red in-game depending on latency (high ping), the actual driving experience improved dramatically.
However, we want to ensure that we keep working on these issues. To that end, if you are still experiencing network and/or ping related issues, please provide details via the Report Network Issue form.
We will take a close look at your report and take your feedback into consideration as we work on the remaining improvements.
*Please note that ping issues are not only affected by network conditions, but also by your device's specifications, so it's important to provide accurate information about your device and specs to help us investigate the issue.
The development team will continue to work hard to provide a better gameplay experience for our Racers.
