Legacy Mode Has Arrived in Deceit 2Launching today in beta, Legacy Mode brings back the classic 6-player deception you remember from Deceit in 2018. It is our tribute to the players who made Deceit what it is today.As we continue our development on Deceit 2, the original game’s infrastructure is getting older, and the game engine it uses has not been updated in 3 years. Rather than let it fade, we’re bringing its most iconic experience into the modern era - rebuilt, and now part of the future. Based on your feedback, our primary influence has been the “legacy” version of the mode from 2018.Legacy Mode rewards sharp instincts and fast thinking. Innocents must collaborate, gather light items, protect Antidote carriers, and track suspects. Infected players must stay coordinated, avoid getting caught drinking, and strike decisively.To launch Legacy Mode, open Deceit 2 and press the Legacy button on the Play tab:
This is a public beta and will have some quirks. We will continue to iterate and develop Legacy with feedback from the community, and look forward to taking the original game mode further with you.
