Meet House Toras, the reigning family of Rizia and the mightiest of the country's royal houses. With a rich history dating back to Valgish prince Heinrich Toras, who married the Marquise of Monqiz in the 1100s, they've maintained their stronghold over Monqiz through generations.
Through strategic intermarriages with the Valgish Empire, they extended their domination to include Valenqiris, and in 1810, Duke Willem Toras secured their seat on the throne through his union with Ariana Rubaz, leading to the War of Rizian Succession.
House Toras has since held the prestigious title of Duke of Valenqiris and, for four generations, controlled Porte Drazon. Their leadership extends to the governorship of Iza, acquired after the uprising of 1926, supported by the majority of loyal Rizians.
Their wealth flows from diverse sources, including the Port of Monqiz, fertile agricultural lands, flourishing vineyards, and a stake in the Rizian Oil and Gas company. 🚢🍇💰
