Hotfix 1 - Parry System, Achievements, Keyboard Support... ALL THE FIXES!!!

Hey Beautiful Bastards!

Cookie Cutter has been a six-years-in-the-making dream of ours. It’s a very big game from a very small team, so we feel extremely fortunate that it has been so well received from media and players alike. That being said, the community has provided valuable feedback on some oversights and bugs and we’ve been working pretty much nonstop since we launched to deliver a big update that squashes a large number of them. We think these changes and fixes significantly enhance the experience and should make it seriously more intuitive to navigate the Megastructure and crush enemies as we head into the holidays.
Please continue to work with us by reporting any issues you find in our community threads and we’ll continue to respond with updates as necessary.
In the meantime, here’s a breakdown of the changes we made—and please keep in mind that if you don’t already see your fix on the list, there’s a very good chance that it’s in progress for the next update. For console players, this patch will be rolling out sometime this week—just as soon as it processes on each platform.
Parry System:

Fixed a bug that caused inconsistency in parry window of opportunity
Adjusted the timing of the telegraph particle for attacks that can be parried to align with the parry window of opportunity

Achievements:

Fixed a bug that caused achievements to not trigger. Not all achievements will pop retroactively though, such as Way Too Brutal since the counter will be starting from 0 for everyone with this new patch

Save System:

Fixed a bug that caused players to save right upon loading into gameplay
Fixed a bug that could cause player's save files to enter a bad state after updating causing some doors/chests to reset
Fixed an issue caused by the bug listed above this that blocked players from a key item in Hidden Diner

Keyboard Support:

Fixed weapon wheel support for keyboard
Fixed dialogue windows to display keyboard button callouts
Fixed interaction windows to display keyboard button callouts
Fixed keyboard button callouts in menus
Fixed keyboard controls of the map. You may need to reset your key remapping to default and then rebind any custom changes you had before to see the full fix on this bug.
Fixed interactables like red chests, doors, NPCs only displaying controller button callouts
Fixed tutorial signs only displaying controller button callouts
Fixed dialogue sections that explain inputs only displaying controller button callouts

Other Fixes:

Fixed an issue with a song used in the beginning of the game that was causing issues for content creators
Fixed a bug with Rob never transitioning to the Hidden Diner
Fixed a bug with Jacko telling you to go West when you need to go East (He didn't MEAN to mislead you, we promise)
Fixed a crash that could occur when traveling to the E.T. Factory
Fixed a bug that would temporarily disable the player's ability to open the map menu
Fixed a bug that caused audio issues on the opening cutscenes
Fixed a bug that forced the Skip UI to never disappear during cutscenes
Removed some debug options that we're still partially hooked up
Fixed a bug that caused remapping feature to be inaccessible on console versions of the game
Fixed an enemy grinder door in Crystal Pits that would re-lock itself sometimes
Added a marker on a checkpoint in Denzel Factory
Added a new save point to Bloody Den before the Lost Guardian boss fight
Fixed a hitbox on one of the Mudbot attacks
Increased the void cost of the Void Wave ability (it was a little too OP)
Fixed the Grit Value displayed for the Autechre boss
Added a few more easter eggs
Fixed a bug where purchasing items/upgrades, not saving, and then reloading your save file would make the items disappear from shops until game was relaunched
Fixed a couple destructible walls for hidden areas
Fixed an issue where Althea would not recognize the player had collected more items to trade if her shop was bought out
