First of all, a massive thank you to all of you for your continued support, feedback, and passion for Steel Seed. Since launch, we’ve been closely listening to your suggestions and analyzing your reports. Today, we’re excited to roll out another update packed with technical improvements, community-requested features, and two new supported languages!
Your feedback continues to shape the future of Steel Seed, and today's patch is another step toward making the game the best experience possible.
🌐 Language Support Expansion
We’re thrilled to announce that Steel Seed is now available in Czech and Turkish! Thank you to our communities in those regions for your patience. We hope this helps more players enjoy the game in their native language. If you encounter any translation inconsistencies, don’t hesitate to let us know via Steam Discussions or our official Discord.
📊 New Features & Improvements
Improved mission flow in the "Chained Towers" section.
Adjusted damage values for Koby and Zoe’s base attacks.
Fall damage is now disabled in Easy Mode.
Koby’s flight input mapping now opens the selection wheel by default (LB/L1/R key) for both Zoe and Koby.
You can now perform execution attacks on stunned enemies even if their HP is above 30%.
Camera movement during dodging is now smoother around enemies.
Certain in-game dialogues can now be skipped.
The first dialogue now starts after the first cinematic.
Challenges requiring consecutive kills without entering combat now display an in-game counter and persist across fast travel or game closures.
Added a text prompt to clarify the cover button must be held.
Updated visual design of Loot Stations for easier recognition.
Combat VFX optimizations.
Shadow optimizations in the Excavation Node.
🔧 Bug Fixes
Fixed size, noise, and occlusion issues for interactable icons.
Fixed an exploit allowing players to jump outside the path in the Assembly Node.
Fixed a stuck point near an encrypted log in the Hive.
Fixed cover collision issues in the Power Node.
Fixed a climbing ledge in the Excavation Node.
Fixed missing kill volumes in the Power Node's launch station.
Addressed blood decal and animation glitches.
Fixed an energy overflow from Loot Stations.
Resolved sound trigger bugs in the Cenote puzzle.
Fixed ghost dialogue prompts in the S4VI Hub.
Corrected Zoe occasionally speaking in the wrong language in the Assembly Node.
Fixed sound issues in the save/load menus.
Minor audio fixes across the board.
