Please wishlist and follow! At Fate's End Store PageBut if you're reading this, I reckon that you've been following us for some time - that you know and love Spiritfarer, or are maybe even well-acquainted with our older projects, Jotun and Sundered! So if you're interested, please read on for a handy inside scoop in FAQ-form just for you!At Fate's End FAQ!What is “AT FATE’S END”?The game’s Creative Director Nick says it best: “With At Fate’s End, we’re taking everything we learned from Spiritfarer — that rich emotional core, that interplay of mechanics and narrative — and pushing it into new territory. This is a more intense, more action-driven game, but no less intimate. It’s about how families break apart — and how they might come back together.”Personally, I'm also seeing some DNA from Jotun and Sundered in here too - it's the O.G. Thunder Lotus team, after all!
Is this a multiplayer game? No, At Fate’s End is a single player game.
What platforms will the game be on?At Fate’s End is coming in 2026 on Steam, Epic Games Store, PlayStation 5, Xbox, and with Xbox Game Pass.
How much will At Fate’s End cost?To be confirmed - stay tuned! We can confirm that the game will be premium (i.e. not Free-to-play), and also made available to users with Game Pass Ultimate subscriptions.
Who’s making this game?At Fate’s End is the gorgeous new production from the creative team behind our studio’s first three games: Jotun, Sundered, and Spiritfarer. The team’s changed slightly over the years, mostly by adding a few key members to the mix. At Fate’s End is definitely the team’s most ambitious game yet!How long have you been working on the game? The Spiritfarer Team started dreaming up At Fate’s End in 2021, while polishing the final updates for Spiritfarer.
Why aren’t you making Spiritfarer 2?We're very proud of Spiritfarer and its team, but the release of the Farewell Edition marked the official end of the project. That said, the team is convinced that if you loved Spiritfarer (and don’t shy away from a little action), you’ll find a lot to love — and all the feels — in At Fate’s End too!
What is the best way to support the game?Other than wishlisting and following the game and signing up to our mailing list, you can also help us by getting the word out on social media and playing an active role in our community! You'll find all our social links on the store page.
How do I get in touch with the team? The easiest way to get in touch with us is through our Steam Community Forums or on Discord. We’re most responsive there, and thanks for your patience: we keep regular office hours in the Eastern Time Zone. That's all she wrote! We're looking forward to sharing more as the project over the coming months. If you have any questions, reach out to us in any of the places I mentioned above!Cheers y'all!Rodrigue @ Thunder Lotus
