The concept is traditional for a roguelike: there is progress for a specific run, which is reset when you lose, and global development, which is saved and simplifies further games. You are offered to play as a robotic spider pilot, moving up and down a huge wall in search of resources.
There are two types of resources in the game: sparks for global progress and various ores for upgrading the robotic spider, character, equipment, etc. It makes sense to explore the mines to the very bottom: in addition to ore, you can find various equipment for the pilot, weapons and various technologies. By the way, a tip: to make drilling at the initial stage of the game go a little faster, you need to slightly move the drill from side to side during mining.
A little about weapons. There are a lot of them in the game, from firearms to plasma. And there are also missiles, the power of which can be upgraded for sparks (that is, the upgrade progress is saved between runs). But at the beginning of the game, the player's robotic spider is equipped with only a small machine gun with a very low rate of fire and low rotation speed. However, it can be improved: increase the rate of fire, accuracy, and rotation speed.
As already mentioned above, the caves are full of surprises. Some are hidden from the heart: you can find random technologies in the thickness of the rocks during drilling, in the form of a module. However, unlike other technological "gifts", such modules can only be activated on board the spiderbot. By the way, the ore that the character collects is also taken into account only after placing it in the warehouse.
The caves that the character explores vary in biome types: the game begins in stone, below are mossy, spongy, bloody and magmatic. Above - cubic, ice and high-tech biome.
Each type of resource is available only in a certain biome. Moreover, the further the pilot moves away from the starting caves, the more evil the enemies become, and the harder the rock is. Therefore, you should not rush to cross the clouds: it is better to thoroughly explore the upper and lower mines in the starting location and devote time to pumping. And if you are lucky, you can find drone technology ... or something more interesting.
But enemies are not only in the clouds: collecting resources in Stenomir is not an activity for weaklings. When going deep into the mine, the pilot must remember the danger outside. From time to time, all sorts of monsters appear at the place where the robospider stops, which attack the car. But their approach can be tracked by the alarm scale. Considering the very modest initial capabilities of the character's spacesuit, it is better to be in the car by the time the scale is filled, ready to repel an attack.
At the beginning of the run, the attacks are not difficult, but each subsequent wave will be more vicious and numerous. You can dodge monster attacks if you have time to disconnect from the mine. This is especially helpful with pumped up speed and after learning jumps. But you won't be able to impersonate a grasshopper: jumps are only available with a reload.
There are also bosses in the game: huge creatures similar to krakens. They have three stages, separated by a timer. It's easy to fight off the first one, the second appearance will make you nervous, and the third stage will be the most difficult. So before meeting the bosses, try to pump up the robospider and the pilot as best as possible.
Well, I think I've told you everything basic about this game. Thank you for your attention, good luck to everyone and all the best. And fewer scary krakens :)
