The AI cheats. Need I say more? (maybe the developers are lost cause losers)
But I will. Just play Empire Total War or Napoleon Total War for a better experience. Better unit movement. More reponsive units. Better unit control. Better battle experience in 3d I might add. A level of grand strategy. More than 6 missions for $20.
I read somewhere that with the lower graphics the engine could support thousands of units on screen at once but in my experience this game has similar unit counts to a Total War game.
