My thoughts aren't much better on this season pass as it only contains a side story and nothing else really. You help Vesper, a Tiefling with mirror's that lead to other worlds where she asks you to kill beings. Overall, it's just not great. The bosses are the best parts of them but to get to them you have to go through 4 missions every single time. In order to continue the story as well you have to do each of these 4 mirrors 4 times. So what should be a relatively easy, fun, thing turns into a grindfest with not very good loot. I got ONE THING out of this whole endeavor from the first boss (shark man) and that was it. I love how also the last mirror with the dragon I didn't get a legendary until the 4th run (I hated it) and it was just dogwater.
It feels really just thrown together at the last minute with the Shark and gremlin having the most 'thought' put into it. The missions for shark are quick, smooth, and easy (aside for having to wait on water to fill). The shark boss itself is interesting but you finish it pretty quickly, or at least I did as BRR-Zerker, ran in, spell cast, whirlwind, win. Gremlin has the best missions because THEY'RE QUICK! The third mirror guy though is a slug-fest through and through as you have to wait in 3/4 of his missions and EVEN IN THE BOSS FIGHT YOU HAVE TO WAIT! It's terrible design that was still taken into the last Mirror. I really wished this was better end game content but it's just terrible you only do it once and never again as the loot is trash, the experience isn't worth it, and the overall feeling is rushed and poorly paced. 16 missions* and 4 bosses* per mirror totaling an incredible waste of time for 4 mirrors.
MIssions and Bosses: You repeat the same 4 missions everytime in the same order and the bosses get a minor upgrade aside from the last mirror where it's major upgrades. Major as in you don't do elemental damage to it anymore and it's resistant to normal :) FUN!!
Recommednation? DOn't buy it unless it's on another 97% sale, so wait for when the streaming services get BL the trash fire as it's still not going to get many viewers lol.
