I'm mixed on this DLC. I am going to mark not recommend because this just wasn't what I was expecting with the name of the DLC.
There is some good and that's mostly that it gave me more words and I was excited about that. I felt like the base game was lacking in word options and it was one of my only issues with the game. So this DLC fixed that. There were also some cool images added. Like planes, mountains, a compass, writing utensils, a bit of washi tape, the stain splotches were nice! The fold map got used for a couple different stickers too!
Ultimately though this DLC felt like a bit of a let down. Because when I saw "Plan with Me" I assumed this was going to be for making planner stickers. I keep a TON of planner stickers and use them constantly in my planner and on my calendar. Got loads of really cute ones and really standard ones.
You know what none of those stickers have? Days of the week. Month names. Because if you are putting them in a planner of some kind your page already has that info marked, unless of course you are using a bullet journal or something. Now I don't have an issue with having days of the week and month names. I really don't... but that's what a LOT of the stickers were. Like... a LOT of them. Like... most of them.... Then the crazy thing is that there's nothing included that someone might want on a sticker that specifies a month or day of the week! Nothing new for holidays like 4th of July, Thanksgiving, Saint Patricks Day, Valentines Day. Or special occasions like birthdays, weddings, or anniversaries! No words included for those things either!
What did I not get? Cleaning utensils for a cleaning sticker. Work out equipment for a go to the gym sticker. No words like "back", "school", "first", or "last" for last or first day of school stickers. Nothing that looks like a bill or the word bill for "pay your bills" stickers. Nothing for spa days, date nights, girls night out, dentist appointments, doctors appointments, vehicle repair, pay day, grocery shopping, party day, hair cut, etc etc.
The only sticker I managed to make that I would actually use in a planner, which again "Plan With Me" would lead you to believe is the kind of stickers you'd be making, was a cleaning sticker. I was only able to make it cause there's a broom in the magic section.
I don't particularly dislike this DLC, but it is NOT waht I expected it to be. It's mostly day of the week and month stuff, with a few office supply and travel themes thrown in. That's it. The funny thing is that there is not one... not two... BUT THREE stories that involve people dealing with medical stuff. One even asks specifically for a sticker to use to track medications.
Yet this DLC has NOTHING that looks like a pill, pill bottle, a prescription label, nothing. Another story is dealing with a medical issue (won't spoil) that could require a person to use a walker or crutches. I would have loved to make a "Get Well Soon" sticker with a walker or something. But that's not an option. There's one that is a doctor in a presumably children's hospital. I would have liked to made a few inspirational stickers geared towards kids. Maybe take something like the unicorn we have in the base game and just the words "You Got This!" or something. But no such words are provided. Sure I can put "Awesome" or "Amazing" for the inith time.... but at a certain point I got sick of having to use the same like 5 words for encouragement. Heck, even something like "Brave", "Courage", "Strong", "Resilient" would have been great words if you were going to have themes were people are healing from a medical issue. Also... at the end of the day the only one of these three stories that really felt like it was within the theme of "Plan With Me" was the woman tracking her meds. These other two stories felt like they had little to nothing to do with planning and more to do with hope and encouragement. Which sucks cause the additions we get in this DLC do not fit into those themes!
Of the stories we get, there are only 2 where I felt like I was provided items that fit the theme of the stories. One person is someone that is a pen pal with someone and one involving a mountain climber and their friend.
So overall I recommend the DLC if you just want to do more stories or if you'd like stickers mostly centered around travel, office supplies, days of the week, month, and if you'd like some numbers. If that sounds like a cool bag of options go for it. Again... I'm not entirely upset I got this DLC because it DID add some stuff that I am happy to now have available. I made a few cute stickers that wouldn't be as cute with out the items I got in this pack. That being said... I'll probably delete most of the stickers that I made using stuff from this pack.
Because if the name "Plan with Me" made you think you'd be making cute calendar or planner stickers that you might actually use in a planner or on a calendar... well this will be a bit of a disappointment because that's not what you are getting. Because the theme of this pack isn't really "Plant with Me". The theme is "Travel and Organize". The vast majority of the sticker options just do not add much to the game and what they do add doesn't exactly lend it's self to making fun stickers.
