UPDATE - AS OF 2025 edition, the game now just crashes
As someone who has spent many hours on Sensible World of Soccer. This is finally the game that I've found to be just as enjoyable to play.
The main mechanics of the match are very reminiscent of the SWOS that I remember - pity though that there is no commentary - so no "Yeah, the boy done good etc", however the other aspects of the more arcade style are really very close, perhaps a bit better.
No league or transfer system, instead this is a card based concept whereby you can upgrade players by effectively using another player in the same position or from the same country. I think this works rather well.
There is a "win streak" gamble where by the longer the win streak the better bonus player you can get, or perhaps you decide to trade in after 2 games of win streak, otherwise you loose everything.
Very addictive short games, always....just one more.
