OK, listen. I'm not here to deny that what they did to the community is awful. The whole devlog was also questionable, especially when they claim to be initiating work on a second game when Session itself remains an unfinished mess. I can't comment on the community as I stopped considering myself a part of it shortly after 1.0 dropped for a plethora of reasons, so I'll let others ponder on that topic.
No shame, I'll admit that I got this DLC for the clothes alone. Yeah, I spent nearly £7 on a bunch of cosmetics for a game that deserves no more money thrown at it. I'm in a double-income household with no kids, so I can afford to be this stupid with my money. The outfits are neat. Worth almost £7? If you're irresponsible like me, sure. Why not?
But Prague, the map itself? What's supposed to be the selling point for this DLC? I thought Paris was odd with its huge empty spaces and rather uninteresting side spots, however Prague takes the spot as the worst map yet. It's extremely flat, unimaginative, dull, uninspired, and—get this—surrounded by an invisible wall. They didn't even bother closing off the map properly, they just surrounded it with an invisible wall! Goes to show how much effort they put into it. No wonder it came out so quickly after Paris.
I hope this DLC and everything that happened on the Discord server end up being a wake up call for the community at large. From what I've seen on the discussions, most people seem to be extremely fed up with crea-ture. I think they're a lost cause at this point, so here's hoping the other upcoming skate games from smaller devs end up being better than this in every way, including how their developers treat their respective communities.
Unless I get weak with neat little costumes for my little virtual guy (that I can't even customise to look how I want him to), this is the last time I give crea-ture money and I hope it's also everyone else's. From how many reviews there are, I'm gonna guess a lot of people couldn't even bother getting this DLC to leave a thumbs down, so good on you all. I would also urge you to change your review of the main game, as changing that from its current overall rating to mixed or negative will impact crea-ture as much as it should considering how much they've been disrespecting us all.
Let's show everyone else considering getting Session for the first time that this game and its developers do not deserve their money!
