I'm a rugby league tragic, and generally buy anything related to the game. I have the three previous versions of this game. But after buying this one, I've asked for a refund.
Loading it up, I quickly realised that there are very few differences from the previous version, which I already have. The menus are fundamentally the same, the graphics the same, the gameplay the same. It's still ridiculously difficult to do something as simple as creating your own team, and even harder - if not impossible - to do basic things like design a kit. Even the cheesy random casio organ music is basically the same. I thought at least the interface would be different.
If I didn't own the previous versions, I might still have bought this. But I do, and so it's simply not worth £35 to get almost no change from a game I already own. Disappointing, I'm afraid.
