I quite like this game. The *only* thing I wish was different is that it was a bit easier to learn to make custom coasters. You build an entire coaster and then test it, and that test tells you how exciting and nauseating the coaster is, with no information on what contributes to that score. You can only learn through trial and error modifying the coaster, which can be hard because the thing naturally (usually) has to be a loop so you have to connect it to itself, which can be kind of difficult. You can also look up some generally guidelines online, but they only help to a point. What also doesn't help is that, according to something I've seen online (maybe only applies to RCT2, I don't know), the test dummies weigh differently than the actual guests, which can cause your coaster to cause a giant catastrophe even if the tests pass. Basically what I'm saying is that, though it might be asking a lot for a 1999 game, it would be nice--and this applies to all roller coaster games--for those who are bad at physics to have at least some sort intuitive, dynamic doing-this-will-affect--this-score real-time feedback. Because as it stands right now, I just cannot make a good custom coaster, which significantly prohibits what sorts of scenarios I can play and takes away the realism. The only thing I can do is plop down some giant pre-made coaster wherever it will fit, even if it looks ridiculous.
