This game was a blast! I had a lot of fun with it lol! A pure combo party. My recommendations: Pick moves that are fun to yourself. Pick your moves that are like the play style you would enjoy in 2D fighting games. I chose moves that allow fun combos and juggling seamlessly for example. There are a lot of ways to build out your character to play in a way you enjoy. Trial and error. Read those descriptions for the moves before you buy them early on.
Skip most of the story!!! Seriously, it slows the game down a lot. Almost to a crawl, with constant banter. I only watched major plot points (then I started skipping those lol). I never lost track of the characters or the basic story. Watching all the story, brings the game down, because it is tons of conversation. Not doing it, feels like you are playing a beat em up. It keeps the game pace and flow moving along!
Play with a arcade stick! This game is stick friendly! It was just a good time, click clacking those Sanwa buttons hehe.
The game is very enjoyable imo, minus the excessive story constantly butting in for every little detail lol. You don't have to be a hardcore Kunio fan to enjoy this game like many reviews say. I'm not one and I had a ton of enjoyment! This is a yes from me!
