Really a mixed bag because I had the original version that was on here (no longer available) but couldn't play it anymore because my year-old gaming laptop was too new/advanced to properly play it. The game itself is fine but I'm just more disappointed about having to buy it (and Raiden 4) again, the only other major change is a new soundtrack with I'm not a fan of and also adding achievements.
If you didn't have the "old" Raiden 3, get this one, ideally when it's on sale. If you do but have a PC that's too new/advanced to play the old one, consider biting the bullet and buying it again. Again, wait for a good sale though
