Zen straight up implemented a real football league on this table. Each season has multiple matches, which you must win, by scoring goals on the minitable up top. You can clear up the minitable of opposing players by doing combos, to make the shot easier (and higher scoring too). If you drain the ball, that counts as a goal for the opposing team (as well as a lost ball). Each match has half-times (45 mins, but time is speed up), there's a half-time show minigame too. If the match is a draw at the end, you go into penalty shots depending on seasonal standings. That's right, standard seasonal scoring is implemented too, each won match is +3 points in the league, draws are +1. After goals you get goal celebration mini-mission, during which if you manage to get the ball to the minitable again, you can score even more goals for massive superjackpots. Balls are very easily saved from the outlane using the outlane flippers, but those count as tackles! If you tackle too much, the enemy gets a penalty shot and then it's your turn to control the goalie on the minitable to save yourself from a goal! And then there's still a wizard mode which you get for winning the season.
You even get trophies to display on the table which are permanent and transfer over between new games! Just an extremely well designed table, bravo!
