Oversimplified, short and easy, i really don't understand why this isn't just another DLC for Two Crowns instead, as it would've fitted there more than as a standalone game, it simply doesn't have anything to justify its existence the way it is.
Gameplay, same as the previous entries, but a lot more simplified, and in some aspect worse:
-> The progression to unlock things got rushed, you just get all unlocked it by the second act;
-> The workers got simplified, no spearman, no farmers, no hermits, all replaced with random plots that generate money without much investment or strategybehind;
-> No buff statues, no puzzles to unlock things, just superficial fetch quests and there you go;
-> The heroes got a lot more broken then before, to the point you can even finish the entire game by only using them in combat;
-> Too short, only 4 acts, and the objectives to progress each act are a joke, especially because of the Broken heroes, but even more because of the oversimplified mechanics
-> Some new assets, specifically related to mounts and the kids, but all enemies are reused from previous entries, with only 1 and 1/2 new enemy that's barely noticeable because his gimmick thing don't do anything most of the time, and in everything else he's just another greed Breeder;
I guess then that the is story the only reason for this to exist, but there's nothing there to hold it up, just a superficial and poorly written hero's journey, told in static frames i've saw done better everywhere else, even those games that use comics style to tell story can make better use. At least they maintained the same voxel/pixel style as the previous entries.
Tho there's something i simply can't wrap my head around: Who hired the person responsible for the cutscenes art? Who was the person that approved those literal farts of cutscenes? How can someone look at those stupid characterizations of the main protagonist and his friends, making them all not only look goofy, but also constantly look like they had just farted and were trying to hide it, in every cutscene they show up, at every glimpse of emotion they try to enact, constantly ruining any semblance of seriousness the story could've had.
How could someone look at that atrocious thing and say: "Yeah, that's right, that's fitting for Kingdom series". I can only conclude that either Raw Fury was ripped of by someone, they underpaid someone, or someone was doing some favours around. That kind of low quality thing doesn't belong anywhere near this series, and i simply can't believe Raw Fury wouldnt have any kind of supervision over it, this is just a complete failure on their part...
Hope the new DLC for Two Crows end up being better, and that Raw Furry hire more competent to writers and artists, sounds like this didnt ended up as Sweet as was intended
