the hgtv takes on the approach of taking one of two choices. it provides a bit more choice in how you renovate houses. as well, you use your clients' budget instead of taking money out of your own pocket.
however, the dlc itself feels kind of empty. the map of the neighborhood you renovate is a bit low quality, and you can only renovate a small portion of the houses on the map. the dlc doesnt really feel like it provides a lot of new content, just a few new mechanics and new houses to renovate.
