i personally didnt enjoy the cyberpunk dlc, although im sure others would enjoy what the dlc brings to the table.
so lets start positive. for starters, the dlc is free. free stuff is always nice, even if its not the best quality. you arent wasting money, so if you dont like it, youre not wasting much. but the dlc is free, so go in expecting it the dlc to feel free.
the environment of the cyberpunk dlc is also beautiful. walking in the alley between buildings or looking out a window, the buildings outside are filled with beautiful and vibrant colors. i personally love the bright colors, neons, and futuristic vibe of cyberpunk, so i found the exteriors and cityscape to be beautiful.
however, the interiors of the buildings are...less than stellar. sure, the missions you get via emails are meant to be cleaning and fixing jobs of some kind. but to me, all of those spaces felt like the stereotypical discord mod space. everything was grimy, empty food boxes were everywhere, wiring was everywhere. and even after cleaning the spaces, the layouts of the buildings were still a bit visually bland. youre offered a few buildings to buy and remodel off the market. these are a bit nicer looking and give you a lot more freedom. but even then, quite a bit of furniture from the base game and other dlcs dont really fit the vibe, so youre a bit limited in options if you wanna decorate the area with a cyberpunk theme in mind.
the dlc adds 70+ cyberpunk-themed items to decorate the houses with. the only issue with that is they often dont fit in with the majority of the houses in the base game/other dlcs. this leaves you with either really out of place decor or limitations to the small selection of cyberpunk apartments you can buy off the market.
like i said earlier, the dlc is free, so i didnt expect much content. but the cyberpunk dlc just doesnt feel like it provides much content for you to use, and what is provided often clashes with the decor of other homes. ive also seen other players write that they had issues installing and using the dlc for unknown reasons. although i personally had no issues installing and using the dlc, i cant guarantee that you wont have issues with the dlc. all in all, the dlc is free and it does add some new content to your game, so its worth it to install just for more content. but its just not all that interesting in my opinion, so i cant say id recommend it to other players.
