And then you make up an ex you've never had, clearly we've never seen a romance anything. This is gonna come back to bite us so fast... Goregle is a thing. Pretend dating redrom, she's being very clear on not wanting to actually make it a thing. Apparently we've watched enough romance to KNOW where this ends. Reference to Polypa, except I dunno if we actually managed a "-sick friendship rebound." Admittance to already being a quarter in love with her yikes, sorry Elwurd. She takes us to a lesbian cafe, it doesn't serve coffee but something earthy and spicy. Is this in reference to an actual beverage? Or is this just an Alternian thing? Excessive bodily force poetry, bad idea. Yes hasn't led you wrong so far but now it damn well will because you just jinxed it. Elwurd has a better idea of how to make this fake dating thing work than we ever could and look who's here.. Bronya! First time a troll from a previous route shows up again! Or I guess second if you count troll meetings happenening the same way I've done cuz in that case Ardata does that first. Then again the first volume is a bit tricky in the way that it seems to suggest you pick one off them and never meet the other? It gets weird, I'm just gonna chalk that one up to being an early concept they didn't stick with. But back to Bronya, Elwurds ex. She wants her favorite sweater back. Shout out to @cosmic_dia on twitter both of these takes were pointed out by her. Bronya is the only jade without a sweater or a jacket because Elwurd stole it and Mc is an unreliable narrator about these two being flushed (they mention thinking that in a later volume I belive). Remember what Elwurd said in the bad end, yeah. Dunno if their problem was vacillation or not specifying the quadrant in the first place but here they are arguing about a sweater. Good advice from the mom friend; "vV Emotional dishonesty is a barrier to helpful communication! Vv" learn it MC, live it, please!! Anyway Elwurd points out the fake date Bronya's interupting, now her reaction here is why I think they may not have been clear about which quadrant they were in, because she seems very concerned about MC being with Elwurd and she's been nothing but nice. If Bronya knew Elwurd was nice there wouldn't be a reason to straight up say she could have introduced you to someone else, or she's the one who wanted a flushed relationship and now it's taken while she hasn't been able to talk with Elwurd *shrug* Mention that we're still in Tagora's bathrobe. More points for the spades thing they're still arguing but eventually Bronya leaves without her sweater. Elwurd totally did steal it and for once we actually get to be the wise one and manage to cheer her up!
Twofer on gremlins this is the twelfth and thirteenth friends, man that's gonna mess up my counting from here on out. Straight into a dingy part of town and finally we've gotten enough sense to not walk into a group of bluesigned trolls. We've really gotten savvier on the whole high castes thing now. We do the smart thing and hide in an alley and hey dirty gremlins. First mistake; thinking anyone mocking people on Alternia would let you join in on the mocking instead of just mocking you as well. Trash creature yay... At least they settle on Normie later. Mentioning Polypa here as well, yes definetely managed that friendship rebound. I gotta say I LOVE their entire dynamic! Maybe making them leave is for the best.. But that's not allowed only FRIENDSHIP is. "If you'd had parents-" Oh shit we're an orphan, I completly missed how direct this line was the first time around I thought the first time it got said was in a later route. Or did it get spelled out for us because people missed it here? I always remembered the lusus line more which didn't register to me because of course we don't have a monster guardian we're not a troll. Oh well this is exactly why I'm doing a re-play. Dunk on your ownself and Folykl immidiately wants to be your friend, Kuprum has higher standards. The insults don't stop though, it's just a thing with these two. Kuprums a good hacker if he got into some blueblood tech, or maybe I'm just presumming that would be harder to hack? Maybe the diffrence is just that it doesn't come pre-hacked? First time we see psionics in action! We'll Cirava did spark a bit, but Kuprum full on lifts us and then drops us hard. He's not really the careful type. And now that we're closer we can see that Folykl doesn't have eyes. It's voidrot, we get very little information on it but it's a thing. Since Kuprum asks if we've never meet a goldblood before because we don't know what it is, is this pretty common? I wish I could look it up on goregle Folykl, we can't, we have nothing to do that with. And first time we hear about Trizza, s'not really that important I think she gets mentioned in some other volumes as well but she's not in the friendsims. Which fair enough she's probably important in Hiveswap so can't spoil her here. The only relevant knowledge is that she's the heriess and in charge of everything(although MC isn't told this). Also there are cullfields, and "r and r" has a very diffrent meaning on Alternia, of course it does. And first mention of Eastern Alternian anything, in Homestuck we only heard about that being a Beforan thing so I guess it's intresting to know that Alternia has enough of a diffrent.. Culture? Countries?..to have anime (and hentai) and a diffrent language at least.
I love how it's just a thing that psionics spark when angry but you can hardly see that on Kuprum because it just goes straight to Folykl's not eyes. Man this sass is not good for your health MC. Kuprum apparently doesn't count as a particularly powerful psionic, wonder how that gets measured? I must admit the first time I saw Folykl come towards us I got legit scared, I think that was the intention. Folykl just being a huge bug is cute to imagine but probably fucking terrifying in reality. We really should catch on that somethings horribly wrong when the guy who has said nothing but LOL starts sniggering. And bad end we go. Either Kuprums friends are wild or "normie" doesn't mean what you think it does. At this point Kuprums decided we're friends enough that he'll stop us from being completly moronic and walking out into a street with a bunch of angry blues. If you're not surprised about things being terrible maybe apply that knowledge a bit more. Apparently ceruleans are high enough to call the drones. Buses fly on Alternia but they're only for ceruleans up and teals with a deathwish, yeesh.. This time they both pull you back from being stupid. And Kuprum actually shows some concern. Intresting how MC wants someone to tell them about the hemospectrum and don't immidiately think of Bronya or Skylla. Drones show up and Kuprum is nice enough to pull you along with them. Note: Drones can apparently come in diffrent sizes. "Not powerful" Kuprum has enough power to fry a smallish drone and still fly of to Folykl. This is a really sweet end.
