It's hard to say whether I recommend this or not because I really want to root for this game. I think the potential to be great is there, but the game needed to stay in the oven longer before releasing.
After finishing, I do like the game. I had fun with the sorting challenges, and I was very impressed with the world that was built. However, it is a bug fest. Especially when you get into the later parts of the game. The nexus device was so buggy that I had to re-launch the game 4-5 times just to do the ending sequence. I also feel that the story elements move slow. The game is a whole 10 in-game weeks and it takes almost half that time to join the resistance group, and your chat buddies don't have anything super interesting to say for a lot of it too. I also wish there were dialogue options when talking with your buddies to give you more agency. This last point comes down to personal preference, but the ending is a bit depressing too.
If the devs are willing to put in the work the fix the numerous bugs and change the pacing of the story a bit, then this game can soar to new heights. As of now, I would wait until some more patches have been pushed before buying. In the end, I'm putting down "recommended" because I'm rooting for this game, and want to see improvements.
