This is the best commander when an axis player goes infantry spam like most do. Shocks go toe to toe with the heaviest infantry they have, and as the game gets more heated and you need speed to counter them and flank, you have the "for mother Russia ability", which basically makes your units run super fast and attack/fight faster and better. This allows you to split your units and surround their units. This also allows you to quickly position units in their retreat path, so when the cowards try to retreat you can intercept them and leave no survivors. Once again, this ability lets you go toe to toe with their infantry, 2 shocks can take out 5 of their squads if they aren't vetted or fully vetted, but 3 of your shocks fully vetted can take out 5-6 of their vetted squads while this ability is active. If you have good micro skills, you can easily confuse them by having a few cons shooting from far, shocks coming in close and flanking at the same time. Manage your small squads through out the map and they will be overwhelmed and that's how you pick off their infantry one by one. Next thing you know you have all vetted units and they have nothing. The b4 arty delivers one devastating shot, but if played well its enough. Use the heavily armored kv1 to tank damage, while your infantry rush in to stall them in one place. Then, deliver the b4 shot and watch them fly up in the air. Not to mention this b4 artillery offers direct tank shot, so if they are pushing a bit hard and they get close enough, fire this baby up on the direct shot ability and watch their tank go boom. It's not a commander for unskilled players, but if you have skills this commander will allow you to demolish even the most skilled players. Oh and one more thing, always start with conscripts in the start with this commander. It allows you to build vetted squads to reinfoce your shocks later in the game. Which also offer amazing support against a sudden tank, activate the for mother russia ability and chase down a fleeting tank and finish it off with an anti-tank granade. In the very least that will damage its engine to allow you to catch up to them with your own armor units. When their pathetic KT goes on in the field, lure it closer to the b4 so the spread of the shot is reduced. Once its close enough, make sure he things winning by throwing a few soft units at him, and retreating. Most axis think the king tiger is understandable. Fire off a b4 shot, takes nearly half its health. Fire up for mother Russia, chase it and damage its engine with a tank grenade. Move up your su 85 and start picking it off. Surely, watch as the tank goes boom. Once again, like most axis players they will panic and try to throw everything they have at you to save their tank, but little do they know for mother Russia will be there to greet them. Watch as their infantry melts, if they bunch up their units. That b4 shot has a 60 second cool down. Watch as this baby demolishes their infantry or finish off the tiger if it isn't already dead. It's a skilled commander, requires munitions for it to work optimally. But if you are skilled with soviets, this commander is the best there is. I have them all, and i succeed with this nearly every time. Give it a try, worth the money. NOT ONE STEP BACK COMMANDER! HORRAHHHH!!
