Capcom Arcade Stadium:Progear is a pretty good action, bullet hell game, now the story. In a land ravaged by war and with no adults left, it's up to a group of children to pilot warplanes into battle in order to protect what they love.
Okay then the likes, the gameplay is good it's your standard bullet hell game, dodge hundreds of enemy fire while getting points and power-ups in order to beat the game. The graphics were good plenty of great uses of colors, scenery and pixel art that was common for arcade games of the time. The levels were good a little diverse with some nice locations to see.
The characters were okay each one had a cute design and interesting story and if you beat the game and depending on how well you did in the game you could unlock a secret ending for the two characters. The enemies and bosses are good each one had their own unique looks and attacks. The story was okay had a nice anime/manga feel to it, especially at the end. The music was good with some nice tracks that fits very well.
I also love that with this game being a part of the Capcom collection we can rewind and have infinite continues like the other games on here.
Okay then the dislikes, like other bullet hells the gameplay can be a bit bunk with how many enemies and craziness is happening and even when I know I got hit I did not die. Also would have liked an opening cinematic to the story to explain why we're doing this.
Now that you know all this Capcom Arcade Stadium:Progear is a pretty good action, bullet hell game, it has good gameplay, good graphics and good enemies and bosses, so if you like bullet hell games or you like the games in this Capcom arcade collection then I recommend getting this game especially since it's so cheap.
