Playing ArmA 3 I was never interested in CSLA, mostly because of negative reviews and general bad fame of this CDLC. After 1.2 update, and ongoing at the time sale I decided to give it a go and... I have mixed, but generally positive feeling about it.
Good things include really beautiful, rich in detali and very atmospheric map that plays great. On top of that, whats kinda rare for official and semi-official content - buildings have interiors, nothing that will stop you to admire but it is a nice touch.
CSLA factions also work with Antistasi out of the box (something that can't be said about GM).
Speaking of factions, amount of units, gear, vehicles and general quality of those - are ok. Decent, but definitely a point below what you will get with GM. Lack of planes and interiors for some armoured vehicles definitely don't help with perception of this element. Some of character animations inside of cars could use some tweaking as well but in general are ok.
Mission pack, focused on quite dynamic, mostly infantry heavy fighting scenerios was fun. There is also a campaign available on workshop but I didn't play this one.
To sum it up, it's alright CDLC, bit too pricy for what it offers and in comparison to other available for A3 it is definitely on the weaker side but it is not bad in any way. Solid 6.5/10 and if we get some more updates for it, it can become strong 7.
