Is this a very simple game? Yes. Is this a fun and surprisingly addictive game? Also Yes.
I'm not exaggerating when I say it's a simple game, so don't expect too much when you spend the $7 for it. It consists of being in the water, with a small colour palette to choose from, and you place down blocks (can't choose blocks, it will auto change to either street/building/etc) to make a town, that is all. That being said, it is still a very relaxing and chill game to play. I like building games like this so this is very much up my alley. The art style is cute and I really enjoy the different animations that play out when the houses change depending on the structure. You can make a lot of different things with the small palette you have to work with, from small villages to giant mansions.
I've seen it said in reviews before and I also agree, that it'd be cool to have people roaming around the town as you're making it, would make it feel more alive, all we have right now are some birds on roof tops.
I think another thing that could add a lot of fun to the game would be different town starting locations, not just water, although it is fun to build ocean towns.
Overall, it's a cute fun little game, and if you have 7 bucks to spare I'd recommend giving it a go.
