Retrowave İnceleme (alpyki)

This game is a nice game to chill out to. The graphics are pretty and the game is simple to do. It actually has a lot of little details (you can change the camera angle to be inside the cars, beep the horns, that sort of thing). Its vibe is like the auto, retro version of Stardew Valley if you understand that sort of feeling. Probably would be good to grab some sort of relaxing beverage and listen to some pretty chill music. Plenty of variety as far as tracks, though I do wish there were some with a bit more daylight options to pick or perhaps a day/night/rain cycle for certain tracks (rainy city at night for instance).
My only complaint is that the game is a little grindy with the unlockables. Some of the unlockables are reasonable (the license plates are a pittance and are fairly easy to unlock on each car, and the color sliders are not too bad) but if you want to increase its stats, that's a lot of grinding. I'm honestly not sure why these cars have stats you can boost. I can make sense of cosmetics, its your reward for grinding the game and if you like a particular car why not slap on some cool glow rims. But for a game who's atmosphere is so chill it feels out of place to have handling and brake buffs like an actual racing game, and for you to grind for it. It marginally make sense for some of the more high powered cars, but realistically if the stats are at the lower end of the spectrum, its hard to justify grinding for cars you don't really use or care about as much.
Its pretty cheap even when its not on sale, so I'd say if you're looking for a cozy time but things like farming sims aren't your thing, try this.
