I had my concerns that this was a purely cosmetic DLC, but the armor variations actually have some really interesting abilities tied to them that help sub-class heroes in interesting ways.
And for that one character you were bummed about because she ended up with a wolf head or skull that didn't jive so well with the rest of her vibe? Chances are one of the variants will be a much better fit! I love how customizable the characters are with the addition of this DLC, especially the transformation theme options.
Also, even if it had been purely cosmetic, the visuals for this game are stunning. So I should have known that any additions would be beautiful assets it would be a shame to miss out on.
Buy this, buy Omenroad, buy it all for your friends, and buy the game again when you see it on your consoles! Give all your money to these folks—they do such beautiful things. :)
In seriousness though, it's a very small range of games that have given me so many hours of feeling deeply and having so much fun. This content is all a bargain. Hats off to the mythmakers behind the machines! Sure appreciate you.
