Tentacular Review (Jonny)

This game was a pretty fun experience overall. If it's on sale, it's a steal. That's my TL:DR. Now for a bit more.
THE PROS
The idea is solid and executed well in my opinion. You're a giant octopus monster with two large tentacles for your main way of interacting with everything. Along these two tentacles, it allows for different levels of strength and control over objects. At the tip, it's weaker, more floaty but you can really fling objects far since your arm is whip-like. At the base, you have the most strength and it's the closest you'll get to holding something directly in control of your hand. This makes for controls that at times are fun but also frustrating due to the precision required in some sections of the game, both main story and side content.
The game looks great with a low-poly, cartoon style to all aspects of it. Definitely not an eyesore and since it's simple, the game runs flawlessly! There's even a fun little easter egg hidden all over the game that makes me hungry because I love JIF peanut butter. The story is a tad simple but hey, it works fine and every now and then, I'll get a chuckle out of the dialogue.
THE CONS
I really only have two large cons for this game.
One is the amount of repetitive rambling from the characters while you're doing missions. They'll keep repeating the same phrase over and over, having large text bubbles that can get in the way while you're trying to work so you're practically forced to throw them somewhere else while you're clearing the level.
The other con is the amount of precision that is sometimes required in the game. Granted, that is the main challenge but when you have physics that are also wobbly, it can be annoying. The most precision required is limited to side stories so it's not that huge of a deal but man it's frustrating at times.
