Survival DLC is worth your purchase so long as you're buying the Season Pass.
Why such a suggestion? Well, you'll have both products for less than if you had bought them separate is one, but also because the Survival DLC is a bless and a curse.
This DLC will give you three new toys- throwables: Vortex, Thruster, Decoy. These new gadgets are the three most futuristic weapons in Trepang (appeal). Vortex pulls enemies in and gibs them, Thruster acts as a flying seeking grenade, and Decoy deploys a hologram to aggro enemies.
The grenades are gorgeous, same couldn't be said for the weapon skins. No harm in more weapon skins, but more interesting ones? Viogrime would be much more surprising for DLC content than Duct Tape. Wack opinion I know! If you're looking for weapon skins? Blade Kisser gives you two very fly skins (Marked & Gigachad), and know that Gold Foil is locked behind Extreme Survival completion which is a terrifying feat.
This DLC will also give you the option of dressing up as a friendly neighborhood Jiggly Boi, which for some people is probably a dream come true, my gut tells me the player outfit addition is satisfactory enough for the DLC.
The real deal of the DLC is the Survival itself. Survival is most certainly a challenge, one which offers NO CHECKPOINTS.
If you enjoy a heap of rage every once in a while, if you truly want to test your limit, Survival is here for you! The main mechanic that keeps the Survival going is eating food and yeah I really want to eat the donut please let me eat the donut. You eat food which is spawned by completing objectives, and those objectives are eliminating people (the very thing Trepang is about) using different weapons. Food is beyond useful as it can refill focus slightly, so if you're in the rough then it wouldn't hurt to pick one up, watch your hunger meter though!
Finally are the cheats. Oh boy! Two? Two cheats? Well, Hunted is easily the best cheat in Trepang change my mind.
It offers so many possibilities for how small of a change it is, Hunted is such a good cheat to have, do not sleep on Hunted cheat. Loyal Follower is cool as you have a buddy now, his face might scare you, but you have a buddy now!
