Game Info

Fortified is an explosive strategy shooter where players will defend the Earth against a menacing Martian invasion in the 1950s. Play as one-of-four pulp inspired heroes as they fight swarms of terrifying robots with an arsenal of Cold War era weapons and experimental technology. Protect the city by building a network of defensive structures, commanding an army, and jumping into battle against dangerous sky scraping attackers. Fight for Earth alone or with up to four players for the ultimate co-op defense experience.

Undercooked Orcs Must Die! clone stylised in 50s US comics. Unreal Engine makes it look even cheaper than it is. Not deep, but have unique features like full commanding of summoned troops.
Devs probably ran out of money and gave up In the half of the way, so game balanced poor. Beatable in singleplayer due to easy upgrades swaps, but most players didn't pass further 7 level.
If you are advanced OMD fan then it's good training ground while you waiting for Robot Entertainment killing your favorite franchise. If not, then there's a Iron Brigade that need some love.
